Guan Yu

Group Vice President and Region GM of China, Southeast Asia and Pacific, for Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Holding (UK) Ltd., an Energy industry veteran with over 27 years of experience in Chinese SOE (Global No.1 Power Company), multinational conglomerates (including Global No.1 Natural Gas Company), and Chinese private controlled listed company. He took various leadership roles including corporate governance, operation management, business development, and corporate M&A, for companies in China, US, and Australia.

He was previously the President and Board Director of ENN Ecological Holdings (SSE: 600803) and Board Director of Santos Ltd (ASX: STO). He was the Company General Manager of Shell (China) Projects & Technology Ltd., General Manager for International Business Development at Shell (China) Ltd., Board Chairman of Sinopec/Shell YueYang Coal Gasification Co. Ltd.. Prior to that, Guan Yu was the China Director for Energy Management at Schneider Electric China and North America Business Development Manager at Schneider Electric US, etc. He started his career and became Project Manager at China Electric Power Technology Import and Export Co Ltd..

Guan Yu is studying his Finance EMBA in Tsinghua PBCSF, completed his Business Management diploma education in CEIBS (China-Europe International Business School), and holds his master’s and bachelor’s degree in North China Electric Power University.

历任上交所上市公司新奥生态控股公司总裁和董事、澳交所上市公司Santos 董事，壳牌（中国）项目和技术有限公司总经理、壳牌（中国）有限公司国际业务发展总经理、中石化壳牌煤气化有限公司董事长，施耐德电气中国公司能源管理业务中国区总监、施耐德电气美国公司北美市场发展经理，中国电力技术进出口公司（现国家电网公司国际公司）项目经理等职务。
在读清华五道口金融EMBA，拥有中欧国际工商管理学院商业管理毕业证书，及华北电力大学电力自动化专业硕士和学士学位。
